12 books in 36 days ||
I have been so into reading this last month it has become quite insane. I love going up to Barnes & Noble and grabbing me an iced tea from starbucks and finding a good book to read. Within the 36 days I have finished 12 books. T W E L V E. I don't think I have read this much in all my life but it has been such a stress reliever and has done be so good. So today, I am sharing the recent books that I read.
12,3- the fifty shades of grey trilogy. I really really liked these books. I saw the first movie and I loved it. I decided I couldn't wait until the next movie came out so I started to read the books. I instantly fell in love. I know some people had a controversy fit over fifty shades but I for one loved it. There was much more to the books then just sex. It started off that way but it changed into a love that Christian had never experienced. Anna completely changed him and I loved how it turned out. I just wish there was more onto the sequel because I loved Christian & Anna and would like to know more about their future. The books had mystery, complications, love, and all the other emotions that drawn you in. I cannot wait for the next movie to come out. I am having withdrawals.
4- Grey. This is a sequel to fifty shades of grey and is written from Christians point of view rather then Annas. I thought I loved fifty shades.. holy I love love loved this book from his point of view. He is such a mysterious character that i was so great to see and feel his emotion from his side rather then from Annas. I hope that EL James will come out with the other two books from his side because it was one of my favorites.
5- Paper Towns by John Green. This book I finished literally within 48 hours. I was so drawn in and addicted and to say I am excited for the movie to release is just an understatement. It was such a good book to read and I wanted to read it before the movie came out and I was afraid I wouldn't like it nor finish it but within 48 hours this book was done. I really hope there is another book coming out because they way the author left it wasn't my favorite. (I hate crappy endings) I won't spoil anything but go see the movie on July 24!
6- 99 days by Katie Cotugno. I recently finished this book last night and I loved it in a different way. It is about this girl named Molly who cheated on her boyfriend (Patrick) with his brother(Gabe). She ended up running away to a boarding school after her mother decided to make it into a famous novel. She recently returned back to her home town and was getting all kinds of crap for what happened and she stumbled into the brother Gabe. I won't go into details because you should read it for yourself but the ending pretty much sucked. I was hoping she would get back with Patrick and in the end she hurt both brothers and ended up with no one. It was kinda a lame ending but I finished this book within 48 hours as well because it just kept getting better & better that I couldn't put it down.
7,8,9,10,11 -- The Rose Gardner Mystery novels. I started these about two years ago. All together there are 9 books. I quit reading when I got pregnant and the new book wasn't out but then stumbled across that she had released three new ones since her last one. They are SO good and such thrillers that you cannot put them down. I also love that there are so many in a serious because you will want to just keep on going. I cannot wait for her new book to come out because I just love Rose Gardner and her character. It starts of so different from where the latest book ends. She completely blossoms from her mothers death and become someone that is worth fighting for. I highly recommend these books!
12- Last Years Mistake by Gina Ciocca. This book was one of my favorites as well.. It drew me in and made me want to keep reading. I finished this one fairly quickly because chapter after chapter it makes you want to keep going. I love the character Kesley and how she is as a person. It is such a perfect love story!
So there you have it, my recently read favorite books! If your looking for a good book to read go check out any of these and enjoy yourself!
