Mothers Day ||
I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day. I've always dreamed of being able to celebrate and I'm so blessed to be able to be a mom.
When you first get pregnant you never anticipate the actual love, hardship, and gratitude you have when you have a baby.. Everything changes. The way you look at your spouse, the way your day goes, even going to the grocery store.. Everything changes. But I wouldn't want it any other way. I'm extremely blessed to have a healthy son here with me and an amazing husband who helps me with everything.
Back to Mother's Day, t was gone with the military. I was a little bummed cause he wasn't here but all in all it turned out okay. We celebrated together a couple weeks ago and in reality Mother's Day is just a day.. He didn't fail to make me feel special though. I awoke to a cute poem he sent me, and I had two packages that had arrived. He got me a baby Bella which I've wanted since my friend Bailee informed me about it, and also a poloroid camera. I think I've sent so many hints to him that I wanted one. I love taking pictures and I absolutely love it! He is such an awesome man and I am so proud to call him my husband.. Everything he does makes me so proud. I am so excited to see where life takes the two of us along with Archer.
We are getting ready to take a small road trip down to NM to see our best friends. We have seriously missed them so much and are so excited to let them meet archer! We are heading that way the last weekend in May! Wish us luck! I am so excited but nervous for a 12-13 hour drive with a 3 month old! Luckily, Archer is the easiest baby and I hope he won't be too hard to handle.
Big plans are coming our way. We aren't sure yet, but we've been praying about what our little family needs to do and to help us have a sign in where to go. I hope to get answers soon, because this not knowing really sucks. I like to have a plan for everything, and while I love Saint George and everything about it I just don't know if that's where we need to be. Hopefully we get answers soon.
