Update on life
So far every post lately has been about the pregnancy. But here's an update on the Yardleys. We're still living in sunny St.George & loving that it's winter time but yet we still have gorgeous blue skies & green grass. We have about 6 weeks left until our baby boy makes his arrival, and were beyond stressed .... Excited ... Nervous .... Happy .... and almost ready for him to arrive. Life has been a roller coaster filled with unexpected adventures, surprises, tragedies and lessons learned. First things first, we ended up buying a new car back in October. Our Hyundai Elantra just wasn't cutting it anymore and we needed the extra room, especially with a baby on the way! We upgraded to a white Ford Edge & have been in love. Why didn't I buy a SUV in the first place? Mom car = happy pregnant woman.
My side of the family gained a handsome little man end of November. Hunter joined our family & had a full head of hair and instantly stole everyone's hearts. Couple weeks later, my side of the family gained an angel to watch over us. My niece passed away 4 days after she was born. We now have a angel watching over us all.....she was too perfect to live in this horrible world.. Love you Stella!
Christmas came & went faster then expected. I think in December we spent about one week home. We were constantly on the go or spending our days in Beaver with family. We decided that Christmas this year meant spoiling our babe. He got a mamaroo, tons of toys, and the cutest shoes on the planet. He's one spoiled little man! Ty surprised me with a kitchen aid attachment, which makes me love my kitchen aid even more, and tons of VS sweatpants. (Yay for pregnancy!) We enjoyed the New Year and are looking forward to 2015 more then ever!
Our family grew by 12 little paws first of Jan. Oaklee had puppies and they are beyond adorable. We sit at night and are constantly laughing at how much joy they bring us. They've officially stolen our hearts and I have no idea how I am going to be able to sell them come March.
T turned 21 first part of Jan and we spent the day having fun together, and dinner at Ninja with his side of the family.. He's officially excited that he is finally 21..
I'm officially finished with Dental School & couldn't be happier!! It's such a great career and will allow me to be a stay at home mom (for the most part) but also have a part time job here & there! We have officially began our next adventure search and will be moving come summer 2015! T is starting either the electrician or HVAC program and we will be moving to a different location shortly after ATY makes his arrival. Although we aren't sure where our little family will move to, we will call somewhere else "home." Im so excited, yet nervous to be changing towns. I love St.George & I'm sure we will be back one day but for now we are starting a new chapter....hopefully, if T can get me to move ;) Life is swell, we are blessed beyond words can explain, T is getting the priesthood here shortly & in the next year we may decide to be sealed in the temple. Although life gives you unexpected events that you'll always wonder why, its important to take what you have, be grateful, and trust that the lord has a plan for you & everything happens for a reason. Our soon to be little family is healthy, we have a roof over our heads and a new year ready for us to try new things & experiences. I cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for us. :) until next time,
